What data we process, why, and what your rights are.
This policy explains which personal data we collect, why, how we process it, and what your rights are. It complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Devside SRL, publisher of the ChAthena service.

2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login identifier (via Apple or Google).
- Project data: the content of the briefs and information you provide for the creation of your application.
- Billing data: managed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your card numbers.
- Contact data: the information submitted via our contact forms.
- Technical data: connection logs and data strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- To provide and manage the service, to perform the contract between us (performance of the contract);
- To manage billing and payments (legal obligation and performance of the contract);
- To respond to your requests and provide support (legitimate interest);
- To ensure security and improve the service (legitimate interest);
- To send you communications, with your consent where it is required (consent).
4. Processors and recipients
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Google Cloud (authentication, database, hosting);
- Stripe (payments and subscriptions);
- Web3Forms (processing of contact form messages).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers may process data outside the EU. In such cases, these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses of the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms).
6. Retention period
We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described, and thereafter for the applicable legal periods (in particular for accounting purposes). Project data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, unless a deletion request is made.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

8. Cookies
The showcase site uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation. No advertising tracking cookie is placed without your consent. The client area may use technical cookies essential for authentication.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
